
To sit for examinations, apart from Basic Pathological Sciences, Trainees must be registered with the RCPA training program and employed in a laboratory accredited for training.

An application form must be completed for each year’s examinations. Application for exemption must also be completed on the Application for Examination form. The appropriate fee and all relevant documentation must accompany the form.

Applications for all Part I and Part II examinations and Basic Pathological Sciences, close at 1700 hours Sydney daylight saving time, 7 days before the last working day of February each year. The closing date is observed strictly.
Late Applications
There will be a period of grace for late applications received up to 1700 hours Sydney daylight saving time on the last working day of February. However a substantial late fee will be incurred ($275 in 2010).
Absolutely no applications will be accepted after this period.
